Roles & Responsibilities Key / Primary Responsibilities of the Role - List the primary deliverables Business Analyst Responsibilities for Regulatory Reporting application: *Understanding & implementation of business requirements from internal stakeholders based on Regulatory Framework & guidelines by setting up processes & technology. *Knowledge & experience of regulatory reporting to RBI; ADF, RBS, EWS. * Impact analysis for changes impacting downstream application. *Data profiling & analysis for identifying data gaps and defects. *Data validation to ensure accuracy & consistency. *Data mapping to facilitate data integration & ETL processes. *Master Data Management: data strategy & maintain consistency across databases. * end objective is quality of automated reports delivered within stipulated timelines consistently with agreed SOP with all stakeholders. * Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. * Managing vendor / technology partners * Understanding functional validations of the reports to perform SIT. * Preparation of test scenarios, test cases & automation in JIRA. *Documentation of SOP, RACI metrics & relevant documentation applicable for change management process defined by the bank *Presenting changes to RCB, handing over the changes to production support team. *Incidence management with root cause analysis for issues raised by users and or production support team. * Identify controls to be built for completeness & accuracy * Closure of audit points. * Managing multiple projects and monitoring performance. * Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. * Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. * Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users. Technical Skill: * A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA. * A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or functional knowledge of Regulatory reporting pertaining to Finance, Risk. * Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. * Basic SQL commands. * Excellent documentation skills. * Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Project.
